A banner of the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was found in Steam

This year, Activision is going to please fans of the Call of Duty series with the next new part, and with it, it seems, to return to the popular online service for spreading Steam games.

Such an assumption was formed due to a banner from the logo of the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Goust on the Black Ops III page on Steam. At the moment, it has already been removed, but the fans managed to fix this moment and distributed the image over the network.

The last release of Call of Duty on Steam was five years ago, in 2017. Since then, Activision for PC produces shooters exclusively on the Battle.net platform. Perhaps such changes will occur as a result of the purchase of a publisher by Microsoft.

The release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will take place on October 28, 2022. The developers have not yet talked about what platforms the game will be released on.
