The 7 most essential Sims 4 packages for new FTP players

The basic game of the Sims 4 became free a couple of weeks ago, which brought tons of new Simmers to the Sims community. Over the years, EA has added new characteristics of expansion packages, games packages and accessory packages to the base game. As a result, free Sims players have much more to do in the base game than the old school simmers (like me) had from the beginning.

But with any live service game, players can add a lot to their experience with DLC. There are currently 47 (there will soon be 49) different expansions, games packages, accessories and kits packages to improve your Sims 4. So what packages are the best purchases for free simmers? Read on to find out.

Get to work EP

The EP Monte to work brought three new careers to the Sims 4: Doctor, Scientist and Detective. But what makes the EP to work is so unique is that it presented a new form of play in the Sims 4.

Without the EP, all the Sims races worked practically in the same way: get the necessary skills for promotion, go to work a couple of times to improve your performance, and voilà! You have a promotion!

But to work, when you send your doctor, scientist or detective to work, you have the option to follow them to their workplace: a hospital, a science laboratory or a police station. There, guide your SIM to complete tasks throughout your workday. The more tasks complete, the better their performance will be and the faster they will get a promotion.

In addition, you acquire skills and build relationships for your SIM while you help it at work, which makes your work hours more valuable.

Package of tiny living things

The Sims 4 Tiny Challenge Challenge Challenge created by the User has been part of the Sims community for a long time. But Tiny Living Stuff Pack adds objects of the Build mode to make tiny houses more functional and accessible and some great advantages for simmers that are willing to keep small things.

In building mode, you can choose to build a small house, a tiny house or a microcosm. The smaller your home, the more benefits you will get, as a better mood, a faster acquisition of skills, better relationship construction, better plant growth and a reduction in home invoices.

And we are not talking about small profits here. Plants grow incredibly fast, skills level up as a ray and all are your new BFF almost as soon as you invite them. If you like any of those things, you will love Tiny Living Stuff Pack.

One thing I don't love: your Sims can be randomly killed by a folding bed. He ruined all my salvation, but it was quite fun.

Casa de Campo living EP

The EP SIMS 4 Cottage Living presented a cozy historical town, Henford-on-Bagley. This neighborhood is full of rustic charm, new NPCs new and many new collectibles.

But the most great part of EP Cottage Living is agriculture. While your Sims have always been able to work in the garden, this EP takes that to another level with special fertilizers, large crops and village fairs to show your skills. And with Cottage Living, you can raise chickens, cows and flames to collect eggs, milk and wool to use in cross knitted patterns.

Where other EPs have urbanized the Sims, it takes us back to a more cozy era. It is a great EP if you want your Sims to live their best life at home with their plants.

Paternity games package

Most of the time, I prefer to play with single sims who fix them alone, but Parenthood Game Pack changed all that for me. This EP gave families completely new ways of interacting with each other and with the world around them, which makes Sim children raise much more interesting.

The new ones can now get the raising ability, which allows them to influence the elections of the Sims children and adolescents encouraging them, punishing them or restricting them. Young Sims occasionally ask the new advice in their home, and the greater the raising ability of the new ones, the more options they will have to give.

Throughout their childhood, young Sims acquire character values such as manners, conflict resolution and empathy. Sims with very high or very low values in these areas acquire unique features when they grow and become new young people who would otherwise be available.

If you like the idea of the multigenerational game, you should definitely try Parenthood Game Pack.

EP that lives in the city

For the first time since Sims 4 was launched, City Living EP gave us apartment buildings. The San Young Valley, the new EP neighborhood, is full of restaurants, halls and public places for the Sims to meet with their friends.

The best part of the City Living EP, by far, is the incorporation of new festivals. Each area of the San Young Valley houses a different festival: the spices' festival, the Humor and the Travelers, the Romance and Geekcon festival. Each festival allows Sims winning suction points, knowing their neighbors, learning new skills and having fun.

EP seasons

The EP Sims 4 Seasons added tons of variety and new and great game mechanics to the base game. While free Simmers already have access to the domestic calendar, SEASONS EP adds vacations throughout the year with new interactions, activities and decorations. Call your friends to help you decorate the tree for the winter fest, cook a giant tofu key for the family at the Harvest fest and plan an appointment for the day of love.

The EP also added four different stations, each with unique climatic patterns. Sims may feel heat, cold and discomfort when it rains and even feel fear when the weather becomes stormy. Aspiration rewards can make the sims immune to heat, cold and rain, which is great if they love gardening or simply be outdoors.

This EP also added the garden career, a work race from home that allows your SIM to win a regular payment check in addition to what they get from the sale of their crops. It can plant, cultivate and organize all new flowers in beautiful sellable arrangements, and each cultivable plant has its growth season, being inactive when it is out of season.

Essential

Spa day game package

Last but not least, the Day Game Pack Spa is, for me, one of the most underestimated Sims 4 packs. With this Game Pack, the Sims can acquire the new well-being ability making yoga or meditating. They can also receive massages for some important advantages of Mood let.

But that is not the most exciting part. If you are not interested in sending your Sims to a rabbit burrow five days a week to earn money, spa day is an excellent way to give them a greater potential for revenue generation. Any SIM can go to the spa and massage customers for money. They can also teach yoga or direct meditation classes, charging the NPC 80 Smolensk each, which is not bad.
